Here's a look at some of my past work that was once the highlight of my portfolio site. I stand by the work I created in the past as it has helped form who I am as a graphic designer today. It's important to reflect on the past and can shed light on how I got to where I am today.

Almost Genius:
Everyday Tips & Tricks to Hack your Life

An original book I published in Spring of 2018. Blood, sweat, and tears went in to making this 120 page book. All content is original including photos, copy, and of course the design. Almost Genius teaches readers how to use everyday objects for extraordinary solutions in their daily life. A simple landing page was also created to direct interested parties to more information.

Wine More App & Branding

What's a "good" wine? What's that one you tried a few weeks ago? Document the wine you have tried, the wine you would like to try, give/request/receive recommendations from friends, search in multiple ways, and a whole lot more. A better understanding, is a better decision, is better wine. View the process booklet to get a full grasp of the research, design, and functionality behind it all.

Gulp App

This app would solve the problem of under-drinking water and help users keep track of all things water. The app would pair with a smart water bottle in order to help keep track of the following: water intake, temperature, pH level, percentage of water left in the bottle, number of refills throughout the day, battery percentage of the compatible bottle, and daily/weekly/monthly stats.

Geo.Mason Wine

A philanthropic venture partnered with the George Mason University Foundation that generates scholarship funds via wine sales. This ad campaign design was for an advertising course that had real world effects—students were divided into three groups and the winning ad campaign would be executed. The goal of the campaign was to personify a colonial "George" character who always brings the party with him. The below are the winning concepts that I independently worked on for the team which include three print magazine ads and a responsive landing page for web and mobile.

Training Worksheets

For the Alarm.com's internal training team, I aid in the creative support for their collateral needs. These scenario cards were used for PowerUp, an annual event held to educate security partners and their technicians. Custom floor plans were made to match the outsourced stock photography.

Branded Holiday Design

A branded cookie box, greeting card, e-card, email signature, and motion graphic were created to celebrate the holidays with Alarm.com's security partners. Autodesk Sketchbook via iPad, Illustrator, and Photoshop were used to create this custom illustration.

Partner Onboarding Email Visual Design

Working with our resident coder and email experts, I created a refresh for a four-email series that are sent to Alarm.com's security partners aimed to welcome and acclimate them to the platform. After examining previous outdate emails, I worked to create a modern design that better matched the overall brand. Once the design was finalized with responsiveness in mind, it was then handed off to be coded.

Women In Tech Logo Design

For an internal organization with a larger context, the Women in Tech brand was revamped and a new logo was created. The goal was to show flairs of femininity mixed with a technology aspect that says, "we mean business." The logo was printed on blankets and given out to members and also lives in email signatures among other things.

1Roof Logo Design

With the name provided by the Exec team and in collaboration with an external party, a brand for 1Roof was forged after many rounds of concepting and iterations from all designers on the team. Ultimately, my execution was chosen by the Creative Director and further refined. The logo references the Alarm.com brand, as it is needs to live in harmony with it, but can also stand on its own.
